Pulse Dive · Last updated 2 September 2026
Pulse Dive has no accounts, no logins and no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
Your progress — shards, vessels, level, best depth, settings and a short crash-recovery snapshot of an interrupted run — is saved in local storage on your own device. It is not an account. Deleting the app deletes it, and it cannot be recovered or transferred.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| A random ID generated by the app the first time you play | To tell one player's leaderboard entry from another's, and to group gameplay events. It is a random string created on your device. It is not your device's advertising ID, serial number or any hardware identifier, and it is not linked to your identity. |
| Your chosen leaderboard name, best depth and level | To show the leaderboard. The name is whatever you type, defaulting to "DIVER". Please do not enter your real name or anything private — it is shown publicly to other players. |
| Anonymous gameplay events | Things like a session starting, a run ending, and how many days since you last played, so we can tell which parts of the game are too hard or unclear. These carry no personal information. |
Pulse Dive shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Ads are never forced: you only see one if you choose to watch it in exchange for a reward.
AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier and information about ad interactions in order to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the app asks for permission before any tracking occurs, and you may decline. If you decline, the game works exactly the same and you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Pulse Dive is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To remove a leaderboard entry, contact us with the name it appears under and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
